Finalized Grace Bible Church Constitution 2022
A Message from Pastor Jace:
“Since 1954, Grace Bible Church has been a pillar among the Christian community in Dallas. The responsibility to maintain Grace’s strong Christian witness in our community has been critical to me since I became the Senior Pastor. I desire to honor and respect our past while charting a course into the future.
Part of this responsibility includes ensuring that our governing documents are accurate and up-to-date in order to protect the church’s future. Over the past eleven months, a group of men and women have collectively spent innumerable hours on an update to our Constitution, Bylaws, and Statement of Faith. In addition, the elders and I have solicited input from our boards, ministry leaders, and congregational members in one-on-one meetings, conversations, and sessions open to the church. I want to thank each of you involved in this process – your contributions have been invaluable.
We are now ready to present the finalized proposed update. This update clarifies our doctrinal positions and distinctives, aligns our constitution and bylaws with current Texas law, and positions us for a strong future.
Our members will vote on this proposal, and on our slate of new elders and deacons, at our annual business meeting on December 11 after both services. Member voting will take place in person by written ballots. We appreciate your prayers and look forward to what God will do in and through Grace Bible Church in the coming years!”
Where You Can Watch Us
We have made the official move away from our previous streaming service (livestream.com). It served us well for many years, but no longer fit Grace’s long term needs.
As we adjust to these new platforms, we ask for grace and patience as it is new to us too!

While we will still be streaming to Facebook, we no longer recommend using Facebook to watch as it has made changes that affect the viewing experience. Facebook recently made an undocumented change to how far behind real-time (wall-clock time) a stream is before it is available for viewers to watch. This change adjusted the delay and quality from “Normal” to “Low”. This change allows Facebook to process more videos at a time but lowers the quality that viewers see and that Facebook can accept. This change also caused a video processing issue that can result in video buffering for audiences watching on Facebook.

Financial Update 2021
As most of you may remember, Lead Pastor, Jace Cloud, gave his “State of the Church” sermon to Grace on January 16. Lots of information was covered and Jace gave a fantastic overview of what Grace did throughout 2021 and where we stand in 2022. If you didn’t get a chance to review the handout from that Sunday, feel free to review it below. If you have any questions, you are welcome to call the church office during business hours. As always, we praise God for what He is doing through the individuals at Grace, as well as how Grace as a whole is being used.
Welcome Pastor Jace Cloud!
Jace grew up in Lawton, OK, to great parents and a wonderful older sister. He was educated at Oklahoma State University, Dallas Theological Seminary, and Western Seminary. As a young child, he trusted in Jesus after hearing the Good News of Jesus’ death and resurrection. It wasn’t until college, however, that the LORD drew him into ministry. Through an internship at a local church, he fell in love with studying and teaching the Word of God and decided to attend DTS to further his training. During that time, he met his wife, Hannah, also a student there. They met at the house of Grace’s former pastor, Andy Wileman, while they were taking Greek classes together. (Ask him about how he had noticed Hannah, but she had not noticed him in the class!) Jace and Hannah have three kids (Chloe, Clara, and Juda), and another one scheduled to arrive in November 2021!
Jace’s desire is to glorify God in all that he does. Specifically, he is passionate about helping people catch glimpses of how great, beautiful, and holy God is by showing His work in sending His Son to die for our sins, sending His Spirit to indwell us, and promising to make all things new through the coming Kingdom of His beloved Son!
Senior Pastor Candidate
We are excited to announce that the congregational vote overwhelmingly confirmed Dr. Jace Cloud as the next senior pastor of Grace Bible Church!
He will be installed at both services on June 27th and will deliver his first sermon on July 4th. Please join us in welcoming Jace and Hannah as they move from Wyoming to Texas, and pray that they will be able to find a house. The Lord has been faithful to our church and we are very grateful.
In Christ,
The GBC Board of Elders
