Sunday Morning 9AM Classes
The Gathering
SUNDAYS 9AM - ROOM B2
The Gospel of Luke
Led By Kevin Gilliland
The Gathering is currently studying the Gospel of Luke, guided by insights from A Theology of Luke and Acts by Darrell Bock. This class is designed as a discussion-based environment, where participants are encouraged to ask questions, share observations, and engage the text together throughout the session. While we value good lectures, this class is especially for those who enjoy learning through thoughtful conversation and interaction.
Our study of Luke focuses on understanding who Jesus is and what His coming means for God’s plan of salvation. As Darrell Bock emphasizes, Luke presents Jesus as the promised Messiah whose life, teaching, death, and resurrection reveal God’s compassion, faithfulness, and saving purpose for all people. Luke invites readers to see how God’s promises unfold in real history and how following Jesus reshapes our understanding of discipleship, grace, and mission.
If you enjoy engaging Scripture in a welcoming, conversational setting—and want to grow in your understanding of Jesus and the good news—The Gathering is a great place to be.
Encountering God
SUNDAYS 9AM - ROOM B3
Westminster Shorter Catechism
Led By Austin Dittrich
Join the Encountering God class in an introduction to the Westminster Shorter Catechism as a helpful guide for understanding the core doctrines of the Christian faith. Through teaching and discussion, participants will explore foundational questions about God, humanity, salvation, and how we are called to live, seeing how these truths are firmly rooted in Scripture.
Nooks and Crannies
Sundays 9AM - B4
Multiple Interpretations of Revelation
Led By Chuck Rhine, Danny Lopez, Michael Golden
Join the Nooks and Crannies class for their study of multiple interpretations of The Book of Revelation.
It takes a lifetime for the gospel to seep into the “nooks and crannies” of our lives. Our goal is to try and find those areas of our lives where we need to apply the gospel to further enhance our walk with the Lord. Most lessons include trivia (with prizes), a time of prayer, and end with a small group time that we use to discuss application questions. Come meet some new friends and hear the Word taught by four rotating teachers: Danny Lopez, Chuck Rhine, and Michael Golden.
Breakfast will be served weekly!
Joint Heirs
SUNDAYS 9AM - B5

Led By Fred Chay
This class is a deep exposition of the book of Acts, giving attention to the theology and application of Biblical truth.
Joint Heirs is made up of all ages who have in common the desire to know the inspired word of God and to live to God’s glory. We seek to answer biblical and theological questions as well as ethical issues that we all must face each day.
Sunday Morning 10:30AM Classes
Word Travelers
SUNDAYS 10:30AM - ROOM B1
The Gospel of Matthew
Led By Don King
Join the Word Travelers class in their current study of “The Gospel of Matthew”.
The Word Travelers (just as it sounds) move around throughout the entire Bible studying the books word by word, chapter by chapter. This is an expositional study with ample opportunity for questions from the group. All are welcome to attend.
Don King leads this class and has been teaching Adult Bible Classes at Grace Bible Church for 52 years.
Jeff Sherwood and Rocky Miller invite you to join this group in studying the Foundations of our faith. The Foundations class focuses on the exposition of Scripture using verse-by-verse exegesis of the text. Their history has been to study through books of the Bible, though occasionally we may do a topical series or watch a DVD that pertains to our current study. The teaching style is lecture-based and they usually spend about 45 minutes of class time studying the Scriptures.
Join us on Thursday mornings for an expositional study of varying books of the Bible. We are currently reviewing all eight of the General Epistles. There is plenty of opportunity for discussion and questions from the group. All are welcome.
Grace is about truth, growing in knowledge, and reaching out to the lost.
Happy New Year!
