James Frohlich will teach a three-week Grace Institute series on the creation of the Old Testament canon of Scripture beginning January 8 at 9 a.m. in room A-9. He will address why Protestants traditionally believe there are 39 books in the Old Testament, how the Old Testament canon was developed and why protestants have not accepted other books as authoritative.
James and his wife Jessica have been attending Grace for almost seven years. They have three boys ages 8, 5, and 3. James is a Ph.D. candidate in Old Testament Studies at DTS. When not studying or playing with his kids, James can be found at the Museum of Biblical Art where he's worked as a docent and museum supervisor for about 2 years.
