She is a graduate of DTS, a writer, speaker, and singer. We are beyond thrilled to be able to have her come and share with us, thanks to our “connections” with Janay Wilborn.
Community Group Link is an opportunity to find a group at Grace that fits you. Community groups are a place to be cared for and encouraged in a safe environment. Our groups meet in homes throughout Dallas various nights of the week. Community Group Link will be Sunday, August 26 after the third service in The Garage. Lunch will be provided. All women of all ages are invited to come to the annual Women of Grace Kick-Off Dinner Tuesday, September 4. You will enjoy a delicious dinner and hear about all the ministries, Bible studies, events, and opportunities in Women of Grace Ministries for the coming year. The cost of the catered dinner is $10. Kids Choir is an opportunity for 2nd-5th grade students to learn the basics of music and use their voices to praise God and share music with the congregation. Kids Choir will meet on Wednesday nights beginning September 5. 2nd and 3rd grade will meet from 4:30-5:15, and 4th and 5th grade will meet from 5:15-6 p.m.
Kids Choir will be singing in the worship services twice this semester with plans to sing with the adult choir and worship band. They will also be putting together a musical for the Christmas Eve family service!

Concerned about identity theft, credit cards, and computer hacking and scams? Join the Men of Grace at our fall breakfast on Security in a Cyber Age. Joining our panel will be a member of the Dallas Police Computer Crime Division and a cyber information technology manager from Oncor Electric Delivery. They will be addressing these issues and more Saturday, September 22 at 8 a.m. in the Garage.
Registration begins Sunday, September 2 at the Men of Grace table in the Commons. The event is free but a donation will be taken to cover the cost of the breakfast.
Join Grace on a life-transforming journey April 30 - May 11, 2019, as you immerse yourself in the sights, culture, and breathtaking landscapes of the Holy Land! Pastor Andy will be leading this trip alongside Charlie Dyer, who has led trips to Israel nearly 100 times.

Pastor Andy will be leading a trip to Israel with Charlie Dyer next spring, April 30-May 11, 2019. Charlie is an Old Testament scholar and has led nearly 100 trips to Israel. Charlie and his wife Kathy will be here Sunday, August 12, and will be hosting a lunch following the third service for people interested in the trip. It's time for the annual Pie in the Face fundraiser! In the past two years, 77% of the kids that attend Young Life Camp in Bulgaria have made a confession of faith in Jesus as their Savior. The Bulgaria team needs to raise $4,000 to get 150 kids to Young Life Camp in Bulgaria. Join us for Pie in the Face after the third service Sunday, July 8 and help us continue to be a part of what God is doing in Bulgaria.

Men of Grace is sponsoring a guided fishing trip on Lake Grapevine on Saturday morning, June 23. The trip is open to all men and their sons who are able to handle and rod and reel by themselves. The cost is $100/person, and $50 for kids 16 years and under thanks to the Men's scholarship fund. Fishing tackle will be provided.
Space is limited to the first 16 with their paid registration. Registration is closed, but you can contact Jerry Remington to check if any spots have become available or for more information.

Camp in the City is coming to Grace June 18-22, 2018. Pine Cove loads up all the fun of camp and brings it to Grace for a week. Camp is for children who have completed kindergarten- completed 5th grade.

Harvest America unites churches, leaders, and individuals passionate about bringing revival to America again. On Sunday night, June 10, we will gather at Cowboy Stadium as one church to proclaim one message: that Jesus Christ is the answer. With music from top Christian artists and a biblical message from pastor and evangelist Greg Laurie, Harvest America presents the hope of Jesus Christ in a comfortable, non-threatening environment. Plan to attend this event and invite friends and neighbors who might not have a relationship with the Lord.

Gail Smith will be teaching the Women of Grace summer Bible study on the Names of God beginning June 5. The study will meet on Tuesday mornings at 10 a.m. for six weeks. The C.S. Lewis Institute is devoted to developing disciples who can articulate, defend and live faith in Christ in public and personal life. The Fellows program is a year-long intensive mentoring/discipleship program that focuses on spiritual and theological growth. We will be having a Mulch Day benefiting youth mission trips at the church Saturday, April 28 from 9 am to noon. We need adult group leaders, as well as lawn equipment including wheel barrows, steel rakes, and shovels. Tools can be dropped off anytime prior to the work day. The annual Arboretum Picnic is coming up Sunday night, April 22. Tickets are available in the Commons on Sunday mornings. Tickets are $3/person or $12/family, and children 2 and under are free.
Visit the Children's Garden from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and enjoy live music starting at 6:30. Enter through the Club Gate (Gate 2 at Garland and Lakeland) for quick access to the Ampitheatre. Bring a picnic dinner, invite some friends, and come and enjoy a great time with the Grace church family at the Dallas Arboretum. Drinks will be provided.

Grace’s own Josh Herman will lead a Passover Seder meal Sunday night, March 25 in the Garage at Grace. The Seder is a Jewish family celebration that marks the beginning of Passover and celebrates the Hebrews deliverance from slavery in Egypt. Join us to gain an understanding of how this Jewish celebration points to Christ as the Messiah. The cost is $10/person or $20/family.
Are you interested in learning about biblical principles for managing your finances? Come and attend this transforming nine-week class. Financial Peace University teaches God's ways of handling money. Through video teaching, class discussions and interactive small group activities, FPU presents biblical, practical steps to get from where you are to where you've dreamed you could be. This plan will show you how to get rid of debt, manage your money, spend and save wisely, and much more!
Missions Conference is coming up Sunday, February 25 at Grace. This is a great opportunity to learn about missions at Grace and be introduced to some of our missionaries. We will have food trucks after the second and third services. Meal tickets are available in The Commons for $5/person or $20/family of 4+ people.

Dr. Sukhwant Bhatia's ministries include formal and non-formal theological education and ministry training, evangelism, church planting, fresh Bible translations in Hindi and Punjabi languages and development of various resources for a variety of ministries in northwest India.
Dr. Celestin Musekura is the president of African Leadership and Reconciliation Ministries (ALARM), which exists to empower the African Church to impact the African continent by training and equipping pastors and church leaders with biblical and theological skills while developing ministry tools to nurture and deepen the Christian faith for the spiritual transformation, biblical forgiveness, and reconciliation of the African communities.
Raimie and Stephanie Bateman train impoverished pastors and their wives who lack access to education so that they can reach the masses of the poor in their country. They also raise and send missionaries to do the same. Finally, they are working to build the most financially transparent and efficient mission organization in the US.
East-West is a mission organization based in Dallas with one consuming passion—to make God known among every nation, every tribe, every tongue, and every people.
The annual Woman to Woman Tea is coming up Saturday, February 24 from 2-4 p.m. Woman to Woman is a mentoring/fellowship program between Christian women of different ages that meet for the purpose of friendship, prayer, and mutual growth in all areas of life. Their guiding verse is Titus 2.3–5: "Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God."
Over the last four years, Grace has developed a strong relationship with Caillet Elementary. We've read with students, assisted teachers in the classroom, and helped in their garden.
We recently heard about the needs of their after-school clubs and wanted to get involved. This Sunday, we'll be collecting items and monetary donations in the Commons. Join us for the Oldywed Game and Silent Auction coming up February 10. Join us for our hilarious spin on the classic gameshow The Newlywed Game, where we find out which Grace couple knows one another best. Every dime and dollar spent helps our middle school and high school students raise money for their mission trips to the Dominican Republic, New Mexico, and Camp Barnabas in Missouri. Enjoy an evening of laughs and do good in the process. It makes for a great night out with friends or your significant other.
In addition to the game, a silent auction and RSVP party sign-up will be part of the event. Tickets are $15 each and are available at the door on Saturday night.
